A creation employee has died after a medical emergency at Wellington East Girls’ College.
In a letter to parents, predominant Sally Haughton stated a Naylor Love creation team member suffered a medical emergency on Thursday morning and died. We communicated with staff this morning who may be speakme with college students who can get admission to assist from our counseling body of workers if wished,” Haughton wrote. Naylor Love chief executive Rick Herd said the death was “not a piece-related incident.
We ensure we do as much as possible for the circle of relatives and pass on our condolences. The school has postponed sports and asked whanau from Te Ati Awa to perform behavior rituals consistent with Tikanga. Haughton stated personnel had been instructed about the incident this morning and would speak to students, who should get similar help from the faculty’s counseling staff.
Police confirmed they had been known as out to a medical event at nine.30 a.m.
Wellington Free Ambulance spokeswoman Sarah Coulthard said an ambulance was dispatched to Wellington East Girls’ College then. However, she could no longer comment because it was a bicameral deal. A Wellington East Girls’ College receptionist, who did not supply her call, stated the college could no longer comment presently.

Construction has continued on the faculty since a $39 million redevelopment of the faculty’s principal block was reduced. The project was initially due to be finished in January 2019.
