DOVER-FOXCROFT — Piscataquis County Soil and Water Conservation District has opened registration for the second consultation in its famous Families within the Outdoors collection, Rocks, Gems & Dirt! To be held 1-4 p.m. Thursday, April 18, on the Law Farm in Dover-Foxcroft. Sessions are born out of doors.
For the Rocks, Gems & Dirt! We can explore spring in all its muddy glory at the event. Join us to attend Fred of Northern Maine Minerals in Greenville, who will carry all types of interesting rocks, crystals, and fossils to test out. Will speak about the equipment used to discover these neat specimens, how to locate unique gems in your backyard, and lead us in an amusing fossil-locating hobby. Piscataquis County Soil.
Water Conservation District will have you searching at dust in a whole new manner — coaching that soil is existence, has numerous textures and hues, and so much more.
