HARLINGEN — For Rebecca Yzaguirre, 41, her passion is usually helping others.
After establishing her cleaning business, You’ve Got Maids of McAllen, she felt stimulated to assist girls at some stage in the Valley battling cancer.
In partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, an international nonprofit, Harlingen local Yzaguirre has been offering loose house cleansing offerings for about ten years to ladies undergoing treatment for any cancer to enable them to recognize their fitness.
“Cleaning, as it’s far, is traumatic for anybody, so this is simply me putting myself in their shoes,” Yzaguirre explained.
“I’ve had a circle of relatives members who have had cancer, and I realize what they’re going via, so it is plenty to me that we can offer those services and supply them something much less to worry approximately.”
How it works
According to Yzaguirre, the maximum common residence cleansing plan generally includes a 3-hour go-to once a month for three months.
From rearranging fixtures to dusting and disinfecting, Yzaguirre says her sixteen-member team intends to help however they can.
“We work based totally on their wishes and what we see we can do for them,” Yzaguirre stated. “We’ve performed many different things for our customers because each could be very special to us.”
Yzaguirre stated she hopes to assist as many humans as feasible affected by cancer.
“It feels amazing with a purpose to offer these services to humans in want,” Yzaguirre said. “Our services aren’t pretty much cleaning; they’re about supplying delight and care to human beings, and that’s what we do.”
