Pearl River County deputies are asking the public for information about a collection of people from Gulfport and Biloxi associated with numerous thefts and schemes. The people are Courtney Goff, 23, of Biloxi; John Holquist, 43, of Gulfport; Darius Lofton, 26, of Biloxi; and Erick McCray, 28, of Gulfport.
Deputies say they obtained a document from a tractor enterprise in Picayune on February 12 about a counterfeit cashier’s test. The business told deputies they bought a tractor for some individuals. The human beings reportedly used a cashier’s check for $24 seven hundred. A couple of days later, the business determined the bill was faux.
For the past three weeks, officers investigated and identified the formerly cited individuals. Deputies say research led them to the Gulf Coast. According to officers, suspects that passed the take a look at have been citizens of Biloxi and Gulfport.
Authorities started arresting the suspects in mid-February, ending with the last one being taken into custody this week. All four are charged with criminal conspiracy to devote fake pretense and prison fraudulent deception. Goff, Holquist, and Lofton have all bonded out. McCray is in custody at the Pearl River County Jail. He’s being hung on a $20,000 bond.
